Rocking Kings Miniature Horses
Horses in miniature, raised with love in the heart of Dixie

Introduction:
Tucked in among the valleys and ridges of North Mississippi, near the
Ole Miss campus, there is a place where tiny horses graze and enjoy
living the pampered life. That place is called Rocking King's Miniature
Horses.
Miniature horses have been a part of our family since 2005 and are
very much a part of our life. Each day means time spent with the minis,
and the minis have enriched life here on the farm. Our horses are given
individual attention and love on a daily basis, and are spoiled absolutely
rotten. They are handled by our children, and are familiar with other
farm animals.
Many times people who learn that we have minis ask "But what do you
DO with them?" The answer is simple...we love them. We don't show
often so that we can focus on breeding your next champion or family pet.
We enjoy sharing the company of friends in the enjoyment of our
exquisite little equines. Please call and let us know you are coming!
Our Goals:
The AMHA Registry states that "the miniature horse is a unique
breed--an elegant, little scaled-down version of the large size horse--and
cannot be taller than 34 inches when measured at the last hair of the
mane." Today's stylish and perfectly proportioned Miniatures are the
product of nearly 400 years of selective breeding.
The other main registry is the American Miniature Horse Registry, known
as the "AMHR". This registry is a division of the Shetland Pony Club, but
there is a distinction between Shetland Ponies and Miniature Horses. The
AMHR recognizes horses in two size divisions. The "A" division is for
horses 34" and under and the "B" division is for horses over 34 to 38
inches in height.
Our breeding program is designed to produce very correct little horses
34" and under. Our horses are very carefully researched and chosen for
excellent conformation and temperament. Our horses are all socialized
to children. We will only have as many horses as we can give one on one
attention, and we consider all of them family pets.
